New construction of a medical facility in Ajax, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 107,000-square-foot, five-story above grade medical facility.
Design/Build/Finance the new Grandview Children's Treatment Centre (GCTC) in Ajax for family-centered care for children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs and their families in an open, welcoming and inclusive facility. This community-based program will support an integrated mix of rehabilitation, medical and clinical services, education and research activities. GCTC's current and future scope of services includes: - Centre-Wide Therapy Services: Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Audiology, Infant Hearing, Blind Low Vision and Social Work; - Developmental Pediatric Services: specialist medical clinics and dietitian clinic; - Autism Program; - Campbell Children's School; - Family Resources Services; and - School-Based Rehabilitation and Preschool Outreach Program. TIMELINE: Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Grandview Kids have secured the consortia that will design, build and finance the Grandview Children's Treatment Centre Redevelopment project as follows: - Applicant Lead: Amico Design Build Inc. (50%), Sacyr Construction S.A (50%) - Design Team: H.H. Angus and Associated Limited, Parkin Architects - Construction Team: Amico Design Build Inc. (50%), Sacyr Construction S.A (50%) - Financial Advisor: Stonebridge Financial Corporation Construction may commence late 2022.
