Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lamberton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The description and location of the project is as follows: The scope of work consists of the replacement of the existing structure carrying PA 21 (Roy E. Furman Highway) over PA 166 including approach roadway along SR 0021. In addition, SR 0166 will be reconstructed (lower the vertical grade) beginning at the SR 0166/ SR 8021 (Ramp B) intersection and ending at the SR 0166/SR 8021 (Ramp E) intersection. In addition, upgrades to the drainage including the installation of a stormwater management facility, signing & pavement marking and guide rail. Several detours will be implemented for the SR 0166 roadway improvements and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 0021, SECTION B10, in FAYETTE COUNTY MASONTOWN BOROUGH & GERMAN TOWNSHIP. The project begins SR 21/SR 8021 (Ramp A & E) intersection (segment 0050/1440 & segment 0051/1415) and ends at the SR 21/SR 8021 (Ramp 1 & 2) intersection (segment 0060/0000 & segment 0061/0000).
