Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project provides for the redecking and repainting of the existing built up steel girder EB-203 bridge that carries westbound entrance and exit movements across the mainline Turnpike traffic; the resurfacing of Ramp B and C travel lanes, resurfacing and sealing of the shoulder; drainage, guiderail and median barrier replacement; installation of pavement markings; and maintenance and protection of Turnpike traffic. Milepost 241.96 is located at the Harrisburg West Interchange, Exit 242, in York County, PA. Any questions for this project must be submitted electronically in EBS by registered business partners. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract. The normal time for execution of the contract is approximately four [4] weeks. The opening and listing of bids not meeting all the terms and conditions of the bid advertisement or bid procedures does not act as a waiver or modification of any requirements contained in the bid advertisement or bid procedure.
