This project consists of reconstruction of the four-lane existing concrete section with full depth asphalt and includes milling & resurfacing of the two-lane existing asphalt section. Also included: guide rail upgrades, signing & pavement marking upgrades, drainage upgrades, washout repairs, curb gutter & mountable curb replacement, installation of shoulders to replace the existing sidewalks, traffic signal replacement at the Charleroi/Monessen Bridge & the existing traffic signal will be removed and a new flashing intersection beacon will be installed at the SR 0906/Riverview Drive intersection, and other miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 0906, Section B10, in Westmoreland County, City of Monessen and the Township of Rostraver, beginning near Irons Street (Segment 0020/1337) and ending at the SR 0906/Donner Avenue intersection (Segment 0070/3165 NB, Segment 0071/3145 SB).
