The project consists of installing a new concrete sidewalk, with associated minor roadway and drainage improvements, for approximately 2,000-feet of Whittier Street in Dover. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the Owner. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 150 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent (l.simmons@dover.nh.gov) no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. The City of Dover reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any Bid that it may deem to be in the best interests of the City.
