Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in West, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 88,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This is a new 88,000 SF ground-up elementary school. We will start construction at the first of the year with substantial completion in July 2022. A detailed preliminary construction schedule will follow. In general, the project consists of WEST ELEMENTARY which includes but is not limited to: dirt work, utility work, concrete paving, concrete walks, drilled piers, concrete slabs, structural steel, steel joists, metal deck, single ply roofing, steel studs and drywall, masonry, stucco, aluminum, steel and wood laminate covered doors, aluminum windows, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Interior finishes include but are not limited to: steel studs and drywall, resilient flooring, carpet tiles, ceramic tile, quarry tile, gym floor, paint, acoustical ceiling, millwork, casework, marker board, tack boards, projection screens, fire extinguishers and cabinets, rolling shelves, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, metal lockers, plaque, identifying devices, and window blinds. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond may be required from any subcontractor whose proposal is in excess of $100,000 at the option of the Construction Manager.
