Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 40,150-square-foot municipal facility; and for the construction of a 62,915-square-foot municipal facility.
***Amendment 12 has been released and is available for review***All bids are due August 13 @ 12PM MST*** Project Description is as follows: Design and construct a 61,515 square foot administrative facility including administrative spaces, classrooms, and secure spaces constructed to ICD 705 standards. Built-in building systems include fire alarm/mass notification, fire suppression, energy management control, telephone, advanced unclassified and classified communications networks, cable TV, intrusion detection, closed circuit surveillance, and electronic access control systems. The project will include the construction of a 1,400 square foot generator facility and significant power and communications infrastructure work. Supporting facilities include demolition of 40,150 square feet of existing facilities, site preparation, utilities (electrical, water, sanitary sewer, natural gas, chilled water, and information systems), lighting, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, and other site improvements. As of July 13, 2018 an award has not been announced. Construction schedule has not been set
