Site work for a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe. The work includes the replacement of approximately 1,400 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch sanitary sewer lines with ductile iron pipe by open cut, the replacement of four (4) 4-foot diameter sanitary sewer manholes and one (1) 4-foot diameter drop manholes, approximately 8 service lateral replacements, and all related appurtenances. The work will take place in along Division Street, Knott Avenue, and Cary Street in Knoxville, TN. This work is to be bid only by KUB pre-qualified contractors in the following area: 2.2 Wastewater Utility Construction, Unlimited Category. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who are not pre-qualified in the abovementioned category prior to the bid opening. Cut off for questions at 5:00PM July 16, 2019. Issue addendum if required 3:30PM on July 17, 2019. Award project on or before July 24, 2019. Notice to Proceed on or before August 8, 2019 with the commence date no later than 30 days late and Required Substantial Completion within 90 days from commence date on Notice to Proceed.
