Site work for a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
KUB is inviting pre-qualified contractors in the following area: 2.2 Wastewater Construction, Unlimited. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who are not pre-qualified in the above-mentioned category prior to the bid opening. Cut off for questions at 3:30PM on September 24, 2021 Issue addendum if required by 3:30PM on September 27, 2021 Notice of Award on or about October 1, 2021 Substantial Completion within 270 days from the commence date in Notice to Proceed. Installation of approximately 12,215 LF of 8-inch CIPP; approximately 380 LF of 8-inch HDPE via Pipe Bursting; approximately 350 LF of 8-inch PVC and 206 LF of 8-inch DIP via Open Cut; three 4-foot diameter precast manholes; 460 VF of cementitious lining of 4-foot diameter manholes; and 85 sewer laterals to be reinstated via open cut, CIPP Lateral Lining, or Cut & Buff. Additionally, 200 LF of existing sewers are to be abandoned via grouting in place. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and the Contract Documents.
