Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Clermont, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a 6,624-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of September 15, 2020, a general contractor has been selected. Construction is estimated to begin mid October, 2020. It is the intent of the School Board to select a qualified respondent in accordance with the Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act, F.S. 287.055 and enter into an at-risk contract to provide Design Build services for the LMHS Addition, Prototype or New Design. The services will consist of the construction of a two story addition to accommodate approximately 480 student stations, a cafeteria seating expansion with a 6,624 continuous square foot covered/canopy patio that shall connect to the existing canopy to be constructed/installed within the existing courtyard adjacent to the existing cafeteria and the addition of a minimum 100 additional parking spaces on an occupied campus.
