Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call civil work for a sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.
The general project scope is construction of a PRV chamber on Lot 18 of Saunderson Avenue, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) of a HDPE pipeline from the chamber to the Lower Townsite Reservoir (in Abasand) and installation of 750 mm diameter of urban infrastructure within the work vicinity including mains, sewers, roads and sidewalks, the connection and commissioning of all new infrastructure, and restoration of all disturbed areas. The project consists of the following Work, however not limited to: Excavation and shoring, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Supply and installation of Structural and Architectural building components, Installing and connecting new watermains, Removing existing sanitary and abandoned gas mains, Restoring ditches and berms, Installing new storm sewers for draining new catch basins, Supply and installation of potable water piping and valves, process piping and valves, mechanical systems, outdoor electrical equipment, new power distribution systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, indoor electrical equipment, new Power and Controls Kiosk, Testing and Commissioning of new instruments, configuring network equipment, installing and testing fibre optic cables, Programming and Commissioning PLC's and HMI's, Testing and Commissioning Security intrusion alarm systems.
