Renovation of a day care center in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,000-square-foot day care center.
**As of April 23, 2019, the project has not been awarded. It should be finalized this week.** CR Number: 2043889 The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation seeks to renovate its Youth Center that is situated between Roosevelt Landings residential building, consisting of approximately 1003 units, and the future site of the Island's New York Public Library. The Youth Center is a 7,000 square foot, multi-level, multi-room facility that includes amenities such as a kitchen, garden patio, music room and offices. The Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) Youth Center is part of an existing nineteen (19) story building. The building is currently fully occupied. The contractor shall provide a Lump-sum price for all materials, labor, tools and equipment for the execution of the project. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% All RFI's MUST be submitted by 2/22/19 at 5 PM to rfpbids@rioc.ny.gov
