The Project consists generally of the following major items: Concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk along Navaho Drive from the end of existing sidewalk on Navaho Drive to Bush Street. Two retaining walls are required as part of this project: one at the existing culvert under Navaho Drive and one along the cut slope between Pinecrest Drive and Bush Street. The project also includes asphalt pavement, guardrail, storm drainage improvements, erosion control, utility relocations, pavement markings, traffic control and other miscellaneous items. Refer to project special provisions for details regarding the alternative retaining wall designs. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders.
