The civil engineering design services to be performed consist, in general, of preparing PS&E for the following projects: The Willow Pass Road Repaving Project will rehabilitate the pavement and repair damaged sidewalk, curb and gutter on Willow Pass Road between Galindo Street and San Vincente Drive. Additionally, existing non-ADA compliant curb ramps will be replaced to meet current ADA standards. The Willow Pass Safe Route to Transit project closes two sidewalk gaps and enhances an uncontrolled multi-lane pedestrian crossing on Willow Pass Road in eastern Concord. The sidewalk gap closures will provide ADA-compliant access to multi-family housing, bus stops, markets, Wren Elementary School and other amenities. The project includes the replacement and relocation of an outdated pedestrian warning system with a pedestrian hybrid beacon across Willow Pass Road at San Vincente Drive to connect residences to these amenities.
