sealed bids are sought for the Sitework and General Trades Contract (Contract 101), Electrical Contract (Contract 102) and Plumbing Contract (Contract 103), according to specifications of a contract to be let by the Village of Perry, hereinafter referred to as Village for the Village Beach Improvement Project, as described in the associated construction documents, to be performed on Perry Beach, located at 42 Walker Road, Perry, New York 14530. Bids must be in writing and in accordance with forms furnished by Village Administrator, Matt Jensen. The instructions to bidders, Form of Proposal, Drawings and a copy of the contract documents in specification book form may be examined at the office of the Architect / Landscape Architect, SWBR, 387 East Main Street, 5th floor, Rochester, New York 14604, phone (585) 232-8300 and obtained upon deposit of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set (make check payable to: SWBR Architecture, Engineering & Landscape Architecture, DPC). Drawings and Specifications will be available after 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31d, 2019. The Village hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the Village. The awarding of the Contract (s) will be subject to the approval of the Village Board. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Village of Perry in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be deposited by each Bidder with their Bid as a guarantee that in the case the contract is awarded to them, they will within ten (10) days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, and that the Bidder shall not withdraw their Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the above date of Bid opening.
