Remodeling, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for the addition of a medical facility.

Modernization of the Montreal General hospital. The scope of work includes a partial upgrades of infrastructure (architecture, seismic, electromechanical, water management, fire protection, asbestos removal) and functional improvements of: - Care units, grouped from the 12th to the 18th floors, and mechanical room on the 19th floor, in wings D and E; - Dialysis units, grouped in B7 wing; - URDM, URDE, Recovery room, moved to the 7th floor, wings C, D, E; - Medical imaging, grouped on the 5th floor, wings D and E. The project also aims to maintain the assets of the buildings located on the site of the Montreal General Hospital, namely; Birks House, McConnell Pavilion, Durnford House and Travancore Pavilion. TIMELINE: The awarded professional consultant are working on the preparation of a project concept, establishment of the project scope and estimation of the project budget. Preliminary studies are underway. Timelines of further project development are being finalized. Notes. - The project is in a preliminary stage and is included into the Quebec Infrastructure development Plan 2021-2031. According to the classification of the Société Québecoise des Infrastructures the project is, as of March 25, 2025, "under study". - Design, tender and construction timelines will be established upon funding availability. - The project manager change has been authorized. The project initially managed by the Société québécoise des infrastructures is now managed by the McGill University Health Center in association with the Société québécoise des infrastructures. - The overall estimated project value is as high as $300,000,000.
