Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,000-unit multi-residential development; clubhouse / community center; for site work for a multi-residential development; educational facility; library; playground / park / athletic field; and retail development.
Development of the Louvain site of the former Ahuntsic municipal pound located north of the Saint-Sulpice estate, on De Louvain Est Street, between Christophe-Colomb and Saint-Hubert Streets. The scope of the project may include the construction of up to 1,000 housing units (affordable and social), a park, local shops, a community centre, a school and a library on this lot belonging to the City of Montreal that is available for development in its northern part. The value of the development program may be as high as $100 million. TIMELINE: Complex program of urban development is under study at the owner. The Montreal public consultation office held, in 2021, several public meetings to determine the scope of the program and main directions for the site development. According to the owner's vision the program will be subdivided in several projects that will be identified during next several years. These projects will be followed is new separate reports when they are identified. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
