In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless an electronic bid bond verification, Certified Check, a Cashier's Check or a Treasurer's Check drawn upon a bank, or a Bid Bond payable to the State of Maryland, or Cash, or Trust Account, or pledge of United States backed Securities or State of Maryland Bonds is furnished prior to 12 noon on the date of Bid Opening, unless otherwise stated in the IFB.
