As of August 27, 2019. All bids were rejected because bids came too high. Project will rebid but a timeline has not yet been established. Catoosa County will accept sealed bids for the Construction of an Apparatus Bay and connecting element on the structure located at 178 East Nick-a-Jack Road in Ringgold Any questions regarding the bid documents should be emailed to info@carterwatkins.com. Addendum may be issued during the bidding period. All bidders are responsible to check the Architect's FTP site for addenda. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Pricein a form to be provided by the County. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance will be required with the CatoosaCounty Commissionlisted as an additional insured. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Funds in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time has been called on the date of bid opening. This project will exceed $100,000 and therefore this project will be subject to the Public Works Construction Law, OCGA Sec. 36-91-1 et seq. Catoosa County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive formalities, technicalities or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary. The contract between Catoosa County and the selected responder shall be subject to the payment agreement drawn up between Catoosa County and the selected responder. In addition to the above, proposers should submit relative company financial information; project references with contact information; photos and descriptions of related work; and any other information the proposer deems pertinent to the review and selection process. Each Respondent shall submit with its bid a copy of current Business License &/or Occupational Tax Certificate issued in Georgia. If bidder cannot provide this License, it will be required to obtain one from Catoosa County if it is the Awarded Respondent. No Bidders are to contact anyone with the Catoosa County at any time during the Bidding Process. All questions are to be directed to the Architect, via email, at the address provided above. Any breach of this requirement will result in Bidder's disqualification.
