**As of October 28, 2020 this project has been awarded to Peach State Construction Co., LLC in the amount of $1,152,916.10. The project consists of the construction of a 5,274 lineal feet (1 mile), 10 feet wide, 5 inch thick concrete (3,000 psi) multi-use trail on DNR and the City of Winder properties in Winder, Georgia.The project will require the contractor to construct curb & gutter, sidewalk, concrete trail, retaining walls, drainage structures, box culvert, replace a water line, install a pre-engineered bridge,landscaping, and trail amenities.The project begins at the entrance to the pavilion and ends at the new trailhead at 41 Lee Street near the intersection of South Jackson Street, Winder, Georgia 30680. The project is available for inspection by potential bidders at any time. Bids will be accepted for the following items: Testing & Inspections, Erosion Control, Site Demo, Grading, Storm Drainage, Box Culvert, Water, Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter, Asphalt Paving, Pavement Marking, Landscaping, Wood Fence, Pedestrian Bridge, Helical Piers, Trail Signage, Waste Receptacle, Dog Station, Benches, Bike Racks, Bollards Construction services are the only services being sought after for this project. All contractors submitting Bid's for this project shall be prepared to conduct all the required construction activities outlined in the construction documents. The City will not accept any Bid from firms interested in performing a single function of the work. Contractors submitting Bids for this project, and their sub-contractors, will be required to comply with all Federal, State, territorial, and local laws. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent must be submitted with the Bid. Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds will be required.
