Project Description: This project will construct directional left turning islands at the intersection of Rivermont Avenue and Bedford Avenue in Lynchburg, Virginia. All requests for clarification of or questions regarding this Advertisement for Bids or for additional information must be made in writing, by email to Melissa Tillman, CPPB at: melissa.tillman@lynchburgva.gov and received by 1:00 p.m., January 25, 2023 City Hall access is currently restricted for the second and third floors, including access to the Procurement Office. FedEx, UPS and the USPS have access to the building to deliver mail/packages to the Procurement Office. It is the sole responsibility for the Bidder to ensure their bid is time stamped prior to the deadline for submission. Please allow additional time to ensure this is done. As always, late bids will not be considered. That the Contractor shall commence Work within ten (10) days after Notice to Contractor to Proceed with the Work under Contract (Notice to Proceed), and shall complete the Work no later than 135 consecutive days.
