Demolition of an unreinforced unit masonry retaining wall and wood fence in the parking lot at the corner of Fifth Street and Madison Street in downtown Lynchburg. Relocation of AEP pole and light. Construction of an approximately 103-foot long reinforced concrete retaining wall with foundation drainage and height varying between 5'-9" and 9'-9". Retained soil height is no greater than 5'-9". Installation of a wood privacy fence and reinstallation of decorative metal railing.
