Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Design plans call for the construction of a 189,000-square-foot municipal facility; and 600-space parking garage.

As of September 25, 2023, per owner there are no available dates for construction at this time. Design team has been identified. Spartanburg County seeks a qualified Architectural/Engineering firm, or team of firms, for the design and construction administration of a new County / City Government Center and associated Government Center Parking Garage in downtown Spartanburg. These (2) projects are collectively designated as Phase II Projects. The proposed County / City Government Center is approximately 188,000 gross square feet. The associated Government Center Parking Garage has been preliminarily estimated at approximately 600 spaces. The total number of spaces will be refined as part of the site master planning and design process with the selected architect. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
