Renovation of an educational facility in Barkhamsted, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A bid bond with an acceptable surety, or a certified or bank check in the amount of 5% of the total bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. The successful Bidder shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.The Town reserves the right to amend or terminate this Invitation, accept or reject any bid, reject all bids, waive any informalities or defects in any bid and award the contract to the bidder submitting the bid it deems to be in the best interest.
