In accordance with the plans and specifications, the project consists of a phased remodeling of an interior space with the phases designed to permit the continuously occupied Airport Communications Center to maintain functionality. The project will include the modification of the building perimeter walls to add/modify doors/windows. The project will replace HVAC systems and modify existing electrical systems. The project will also include technology systems work such as security, audio/visual, data cabling and compute infrastructure. The interior fit out will include the replacement of lay-in ceilings, construction and painting of partitions/doors and installation of flooring and the renovation of a kitchenette in the break room. Pursuant to the Statutes 338.020 to 338.090 of the State of Nevada, the Labor Commissioner has established the minimum wage rates and rates of overtime and legal holidays in the locality in which the work is to be performed. Nevada bidder preference Statute NRS 338.147 may be applicable to the Project.All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority amounting to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said Owner signed by the bidder and a corporate surety. Said check shall be forfeited or said bond shall become payable to said Owner in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within ten (10) days after written notice that the Contract has been awarded to him: (a) enter into a Contract with the Owner, and (b) furnish certificates of insurance, a bond of faithful performance and a payment bond as described in the Contract Documents.
