Prospective Bidders will have an opportunity to ask questions and familiarize themselves with the Project. The meeting is not mandatory but attendance is strongly advised. The work consists of paving and concrete work associated with the existing drive aisle and parking lot. The existing pavement located at the main driveway and drive aisle along the building will be removed and replaced with concrete. The existing unstriped parking lot along Graham Street will be milled as necessary to mediate the broken asphalt and then overlaid with new asphalt to final grade. The parking lot will be striped and constructed to meet the landscape ordinance. The project will also include a new chain link fence and access age. The City of Charlotte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.
