Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Alton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work of this Contract is comprised of the supply of all materials, labour and equipment required for complete construction of the Alton Wells 3 and 4 Treatment Facility upgrades as described herein and shown on the Contract Drawings. The Work includes, but is not limited to: - Construct approximately 50m of new 150mm PVC yard piping to connect new Well 4A to the existing treatment facility. - Remove existing indoor diesel generator, associated electrical, controls and fuel system from the facility and provide a new manual transfer switch and outdoor generator connection receptacle for a portable generator. - Replace two (2) existing R-Can UV reactors with two (2) new pre-purchased Trojan UV Swift units. - Construct process piping modifications, including installation of a sand filter. - Construct improvements to the existing sodium hypochlorite day tank containment area and construct new below grade chemical storage sump for sodium hypochlorite drum storage. - Complete associated electrical, instrumentation and control improvements as shown in the Contract Document and Drawings.
