As of November 19, 2019, this project is under construction. The City of St. Marys is soliciting bids for the construction of the Renovations to Orange Hall. Work to be done: The work to be done under this Contract shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide for the successful reconstruction of the Renovations to Orange Hall as outlined in the Bid Documents and project specifications. Contractor must conform to all state, local, and federal regulations, including safety. Contractor must submit copies of all licenses, insurance, and must inspect the site prior to bidding project. Once project is started, work must be uninterrupted. Work must be completed within agreed upon time frame after receipt of Notice to Proceed. All work will be coordinated with the City Public Works Department. Bonds: Contractor to submit with the sealed bid a Bid Bond as noted in the Bid Bond Requirements. No bid will be considered without following this procedure. All other required Contract Documents must be fully completed and executed by the Contractor and his/her Surety, and submitted to the Owner on or before the issuance of Notice to Proceed. The City of St. Marys, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, handicap/disabled in consideration for an award. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise, pursuant to federal and state law.
