Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Tukwila, Washington. Working plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
As of April 2022, the project is in design and at a 30% completion. Construction will begin in late 2022. A contractor has been selected. South Facilities Maintenance Building, including the vehicle maintenance warehouse, was built in 1987 and is located in the city of Tukwila. In 2003, South Facilities HVAC systems were assessed and the remaining life of each unit was determined. The resulting project upgraded HVAC units that had remaining useful life but operational problems, and replaced units that had failed or were failing. This work was completed in 2004. • The South Facilities Maintenance Building has a total building GSF of 35,000, including all roof and upper floor overhangs. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
