Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lovelock, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of demolishing and replacing an existing steel tank floor; installing cathodic protection systems both inside and outside of the tank; full recoating of the interior of the tank; and replacement of the existing base sand with a transported neutral sand. The Contractor will have 105 calendar days to complete the Work. The cost of this project is estimated at is between $750K and $1M. The Owner is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Bidders are to base their Bids on the Project funding being provided in whole or in part by the US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and the State of Nevada Revolving Loan Fund Program. Federal and State Wage Rates are applicable on the Project. American Iron and Steel Requirements are also applicable for this project. The Bidder must take affirmative steps to assure that disadvantaged businesses are used when possible as sources of supplies, construction, and services. The goals for minority and female participation are identified in the Contract Documents and range from 1% to 2% for construction, equipment, services and supplies.
