Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Cap existing heating hot water mains (8") that are routed underground to segment C. Install new 8" heating hot water supply and return lines o segment C, roughly 3,000 linear feet. It is anticipated that the new lines will be routed above ground concealed by planters outside of the central boiler plant. The existing planters will be removed and replanted to conceal the new piping routed above ground outside of the boiler room. The piping will then be routed on the underside of the loading dock, located as to not interfere with any loading or unloading operations. Once inside the building the piping will be routed above the drop ceiling, and will intercept the hot water piping where it enters from underground in the mechanical room. Evaluate the existing pumps and pump head to ensure proper pump operation. Relocated/reroute existing utilities in the building which interfere with the new hot water supply and return pathways. Remove existing ceiling tiles and grid inside the building to accommodate new piping installation. The grid and ceiling tiles shall be replaced with new in the service corridor. This is a Lump Sum Bid. Deadline for questions: 4:00 P.M., January 10, 2019. The estimated construction budget for this contract is $800,000 This is a Qualified Low Bid Solicitation. It is understood and agreed that the work is to be substantially completed on or before 120 calendar days. This project does not include hazardous environmental work.
