***As of January 9,2019 project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project consists of three divisions as listed below. Division 1: The installation of a new 400 GPM groundwater supply well, chemical feed plumbing, site piping and appurtenances at the ECA Tank and Well Site. Division 2: The installation of a THM removal system comprised of a tank mixer, sprayer and blower installed within the ECA elevated storage tank. Division 3: The installation of 8 automatic flushing devices, piping and appurtenances throughout the water distribution system. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The project is being funded (in part) by a loan from the State Revolving Fund and therefore bidders must comply with all applicable State and Federal requirements identified in the contract documents. Products used for construction must meet American Iron & Steel requirement. Another requirement of the project is that prospective bidders must implement procedures that ensure disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) firms are given opportunities for meaningful participation if subcontracts are awarded. The contractor must follow the good faith strategies outlines in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance section of the Federal Requirements for SRF Funding. The goal stated in the contract documents for participation by MBE/WBE firms is MBE: 3.6% and WBE: 2.4%. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor''s Licensing Law (South Carolina Code of Laws as amended on April 1, 1999, Chapter 11, Sections 40-11-10 through 40 11 428). Contractors shall have a classification of WL, WP. No bidder may withdraw the bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof.
