Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hemingway, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
***As of August 12, 2021 project has been awarded but award amount is not yet available. WCSD will receive sealed bids for the replacement of electrical panel at the HCTC. 400-amp single phase indoor subpanel (40) spaces with main breaker. Power supply will feed from electrical room to the welding shop. Distance is approximately (200 ft.). Wires coming from electrical room to 400-amp subpanel need to be 500 MCM THHN, and a 2/0 for the ground. Wires coming from the 400-amp subpanel to the welders need to be #6, and a #10 and for the ground. Wires coming from the ceiling to welding booth need to be #6 SO cord with Twist Lock. Wires coming from 400-amp subpanel to vacuum air filter canisters need to be #12. All Breakers need to size according to the amperage of the wires and equipment that its servicing. All conduit need to be EMT. All conduits, connectors, fittings, and fasteners must comply with Federal (NEC), State, and Local codes
