Renovation of the east lawn area, designated as "Brick and Cobblestone Replacement," including the creation of a raised terrace area adjoining the main body of the residence at its approximate first floor level. The project will provide accessible entrance to all three doors on the east elevation (central main entrance and secondary entrances at the flanking hyphens). The Bid for General Construction (.1) Contract includes unit price items. Refer to the Unit Price Schedule included in the Bid Documents. Liquidated Damages = (.1) $270.00 per day, (.2) $130.00 per day, & (.4) $100.00 per day. A firm will be required to submit a signed DGS COVID-19 guidelines document prior to the award of a contract. There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. However, BDISBO did not set SDB and/or VBE participation goals for those procurements that are less than the $400,000 threshold required to set either goal.
