Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scheduled to be awarded on 3/4/2019. The Village of Lake Zurich is requesting bids from qualified firms and/or individuals to perform sanitary sewer replacement. The project work consists of the installation of new 8-inch sanitary sewer along the eastbound lane of Old Rand Road and connecting with an existing cased 18-inch sanitary sewer at Pine Tree Row. New 6-inch sanitary services with clean outs will also be installed and portions of the street will be patched as required for open trench construction. In addition will be abandonment of the old CIPP lined VCP sanitary sewer. The successful bidder shall warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm and that there will not be an escalation at time of construction. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth above. The Village further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Village.
