Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 120,000-square-foot educational facility; laboratory facility; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of March 2,2023, this is under construction. Orange Technical College Orlando Campus (OTC-Orlando) a Comprehensive Renovation Project, located in an urban downtown site at 301 W. Amelia Street, Orlando, Florida. This project will provide improved facilities, which meet Orange County Public School Design Guidelines and assigned educational program requirements. All identified and emergent life safety, fire, accessibility code deficiencies and ongoing maintenance issues shall be corrected. The work will be accomplished in two separate projects as described herein. The School Board of Orange County Florida is interested in entering into a contract with a single qualified firm as outlined as follows: OTC - Orlando Building Envelope Improvements Scope of Work 1. Pre-construction and construction phase services as outlined in the contract for capital renewal renovations to the building envelope, which include complete replacement of the existing roof and select roof-mounted equipment, and repair of the exterior building envelope. 2. General scope items within the building package include but are not limited to: a. Replacement of existing roof system (approximately 32,000 sf) to include replacement of existing roof drain bodies and addition of a new secondary roof drainage system; b. Replacement of roof-mounted exhaust fans; c. Removal of abandoned roof-top equipment; d. Repair of the building envelope, including replacement of sealant joints, repair of concrete spalling, sealing of brick veneer cracks, and installation of through-wall flashing. 3. This scope has an estimated construction budget of $1,960,000. Target Schedule for OTC - Orlando Building Envelope Improvements Scope of Work Pre-construction Services Commencement: 07/10/2019 Construction Notice to Proceed: 11/20/2019 Substantial Completion: 07/23/2020 Final Completion: 11/20/2020 OTC - Orlando Building Comprehensive Renovation Scope of Work 1. Pre-Construction and Construction services for an Orange Technical Orlando Campus comprehensive renovation of approximately 120,000 gross square feet and site package for 3.4 acres. Planned students will include adult and OCPS dual enrollment high school students. 2. The campus will have a health sciences focus. Career/technical and apprenticeship programs which may include: adult education, dental assisting, nursing assistant, simulation lab, medical assisting, medical lab assisting, medical administration, medical coder/biller, emergency medical technician, health unit coordinator/monitor technician, hemodialysis technician, patient care technician and surgical technology. 3. Student and administrative spaces which may include: testing labs, computer labs, seminar rooms, administrative offices, student services, student commons, campus store and conference spaces. 4. The existing Orange Technical College Orlando Campus will remain in operation during construction. Construction will be phased, and swing space/spaces will likely be needed and planned. 5. General scope items within the site package may include but are not limited to parking areas, bus loop/drop off, exterior canopies, outdoor instructional spaces, exterior walkways, underground utilities, storm water retention, landscaping, irrigation and site lighting. 6. This project has an estimated construction budget of $18,200,000.
