Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids will be received for the Lehighton Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant Demolition All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Engineer and must be accompanied by either a Certified Check, Cashier Check, or Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety payable to the Borough of Lehighton, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and/or eliminate, reduce or increase any item of work shown and to waive any informality in the bidding. This project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each equal to the amount of the total bid. Bids may be held by the Borough for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders, prior to awarding a Contract.
