Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of October 29, 2019, No bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** Rebid **As of April 17, 2019. Bids were rejected. Project is being value-engineered and will be rebid May-June.** The Scope of work consists of new park development including construction of 1.74 miles of multi-use aggregate path, 1,631 feet of wooden boardwalk & overlooks, canoe/kayak launch, 20 car aggregate lot, concrete walks, asphalt approaches, signage, landscaping, and aggregate base, plumbing & electric utility work related to the installation of an owner-supplied precast restroom building. Each Bidder Must Furnish either (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Labor and Materials Bond. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Park Commissioners of the Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding.
