Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jasper, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Bids are invited for several items of work as follows: Construction of storm sewer, sitework, rock riprap, concrete or asphalt streets and parking, concrete sidewalks, crosswalk, three metal pavilions, eight metal picnic sheds, two CMU restroom buildings, monument sign, sight fence, 20-foot span pedestrian bridge, light bases, underground conduit, monument sign, and related work. Construction of sitework, concrete or asphalt parking, concrete sidewalks, two 100-foot span pedestrian bridges, street crosswalk, light bases, electrical conduit, and related work. A Bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. Cash currency is not acceptable as bid surety and is not to be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Jasper reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Jasper for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
