Renovation of a water / sewer project in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The purpose of the Project is to replace the existing pump station with a new pump station installed adjacent to the existing station while utilizing the existing fence, generator, and alarm-dialer. The new station will be raised to protect it from the 100 year flood. An add alternate is included to raise the access road above the 100 year flood elevation. All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid made payable to Wayne County. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after bid opening except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state(s) in which the work is to be completed.
