Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to the Architect/Engineer ("A/E") no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidder must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hardin County and the Village of Ada, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, 614-644-2239. The estimated cost of the Project Base Bid is $619,950.00 and the Project Alternate 01 (HVAC Split-System Replacement) is $24,000.00. All work and bids shall be under one General Contract including General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Elevator work for the Project. The General Contractor is responsible for scheduling the Project, coordinating work with other subcontractors and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents.
