Liberty Township Road 35 Resurfacing Improvements Project Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to Liberty Township, or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of Liberty Township. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packet, particularly to the various prevailing wage rates, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a bid guaranty and a performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than November 2, 2024. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Liberty Township reserves the right to waive any or all informalities and/or to reject any or all bids. The engineer's estimate on this project is $162,135.00.
