Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Ada, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,472-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

General Contract: The Owner will award a stipulated sum (single Prime) contract for construction operations as follows 1. It is intended that one Single-Prime Contract be awarded for the work required to complete the entire project as follows a. Sitework, General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical ventilation. 2. The General Contract will consist of the following work as well as all incidental work required to accomplish the intent of these Contract Documents. a. Furnish and install all general trade items required for the complete construction of the project, including but not limited to: site work including final utilities connections, aprons, sidewalks, grading of lawn. Building structure including building pad, foundations, air slabs, concrete floor (slab-on-grade), roof framing, asphalt shingle roof, masonry walls, soffit, gutter, downspouts, rolling counter doors, insulated sectional overhead doors, exterior and interior walk doors, door hardware, casework, painting, restroom accessories, and other miscellaneous equipment as indicated or specified in contract documents. b. Coordinate with all other contractors installing underground or under floor conduit, piping drains, etc. c. The fine grading and seeding of all lawn areas. d. The fine grading and installation of landscaping. 3. The Sitework Sub-Constractor shall install the sanitary line from municipal sewer main to within 5 feet of the addition as indicated on site plans. 4. The Sitework Sub-Contractor shall furnish and install the waterline to the Concession Stand Building as indicated on site plans. Sitework Sub-Contractor shall provide thrust blocks as required. Waterline shall be terminated 1'-0" above finished floor with flanged connection. The estimated cost of the Project is $528,800. All work and bids shall be under one General Contract including General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing work for the Project. The General Contractor is responsible for scheduling the Project, coordinating work with other subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents. Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to the Architect/Engineer ("A/E") no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Opportunity Requirements are applicable to this Project.
