Site work for a water / sewer project in Sarasota, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for the installation of the water mains and water service laterals, which includes in general the following: Installation of the water main by open-cut method using C-900 PVC DR-18 pipe or Ductile Iron Pipe, depending on which bid is chosen by the Owner. All pipe, whether PVC or Ductile Iron shall be restrained at all joints. Removal and installation of fire hydrant assemblies. Installation of new water service laterals from the new water main to the existing water meters with a new meter box in the orientation as shown on the drawings. Pressure testing, disinfection, and bacteriological testing of the water mains. Obtaining FDEP clearance for the new water mains. Connecting existing water main(s) and service piping to the new water main(s) and service lateral. Abandonment ofthe existing water main by flowable fill/grout filling. ADA Ramp improvements. Restoration Right-of-Ways including concrete curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons, milling and resurfacing of asphalt and miscellaneous site restoration.
