New construction of a water / sewer project in Clinton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a water pump station.
Bids were rejected:1st Ave Pump Station in Clinton, Iowa. Excavation and construction of contractor designed soil retention system for construction of new pump station and associated structures; Site dewatering and bypass sewage pumping; Auger cast piles; Demolition of two existing pump station; Construction of new pump station including influent screening, grinder channels, sanitary wet well with four submersible pumps, CSO wet well with two submersible pumps, valve vault, and above grade electrical building; Standby diesel generator and load bank: Site piping including 30 IN sanitary forcemain, 36 IN CSO forcemain, and 18 IN sanitary gravity sewer; Site electrical work; Grading, seeding, concrete paving, curb and gutter, chainlink fence and gates, and other miscellaneous site work. The work will also include construction of a new storm sewer pump station with manual bar screen and 20 IN force main to serve the local Lumberkings Ball Field parking lot. Upgrades to three (3) existing line shaft centrifugal pumps at the City’s existing Headworks Building is also included in the work.
