The Texas city Economic Development Corporation is requesting bids for the striping various bikeways within the city limit of texas city. It shall be understood and agreed that all factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the bid submitted. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to insure that his bid is actually in the Texas City Public Works office prior to the expiration of the time and date above first written. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin. Upon consideration of the proposals the City Commission plans to award a Contract; however the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities and technicalities, and to accept any bid which deems advantageous to the City. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid.
