Renovation of a water / sewer project in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

1.Base Bid Blower Station Improvements: a.Purchase and install one (1) new multistage blower and control panel; install intake and discharge piping, valves, accessories, pipe supports. b. Remove and replace four (4) existing blower control panels with four (4) new blower control panels c.Recoat the blower station piping to the limits shown on the design drawings. d.Remove and Replace one (1) existing 14 coupling on the blower station discharge header pipe. e.Remove and Replace one (1) existing 10 coupling and one (1) existing 8 coupling on the plant air piping. 2.Base Bid Replacement of Fine Screens: a.Purchase and install two (2) new Huber mechanical step screen assemblies, including control panel, wiring, disconnects, shutoffs; remove and dispose of existing units. b.Purchase and install one (1) new conveyor and screenings washer assembly, including control panels, wiring, disconnects, shutoffs; remove and dispose of existing unit 3.Base Bid New Handrails for the Headworks Facility: a.Install a new handrail system for the headworks assembly as indicated in the design drawings. Remove and dispose of existing handrails. 4. Base Bid Partial Wall Liner for the Grit Basin: a.Install a 100% Calcium Aluminate corrosion-resistant wall liner material (such as SewperCoat) to the limits and thicknesses as indicated on the drawings The construction covered by the contract documents shall commence within ten (10) days after written Notice to Proceed shall have been given by Professional and be completed within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Additional site visits, inspections, and tests conducted by Engineer due to systems not being ready at designated time of final inspection may result in charges to Contractor by Engineer to pay for additional time of electrical inspectors not covered in Electrical Engineers scope of work. All charges will be at Engineers standard rates.
