The City of Texas City is requesting bids for the Relocation of Pedestrian Bridge Project. The project involves the removal, transport, and relocation of an existing pedestrian bridge located at Levy Fry Intermediate School to the soccer fields parking lot located along 34th Street south of 25th Avenue. The pedestrian bridge will be placed across the 24th Street drainage ditch and will provide an alternate access to the Carlo Garza Sports Complex. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. It shall be each bidder's sole responsibility to inspect the site of the work and to inform himself regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done. It shall be understood and agreed that all such factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the bid submitted.
