Site work and paving for a civil project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Des Moines is pleased to provide accommodations to individuals with disabilities or groups and encourages participation in City government. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. The bidder should not include sales tax in the bid. A sales tax exemption certificate will be available for all material purchased for incorporation in the project. The improvement includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, storm sewer, street patching, traffic control, seeding and erosion control; all work in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File Nos. 608-123/137, located at S.E. 30th Street and Scott Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than September 15, 2019.
