Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lincoln, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
To provide solids dewatering facilities and equipment for land application of dewatered biosolids as generated at the NEWRRF. Nutrient limitations and seasonal requirements with additional farm ground have become program restrictive. The current method of liquid biosolids injection cannot be sustained. This project is part of Wastewater - Infrastructure/System Improvements (INF). This project can be funded by utility revenues, which may include revenue bond proceeds. This project is included in the city's 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 26, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
